Chevrolet has priced Cruze Hatchback at just £13 995 on-the-road. The car will arrive at the dealerships next month and will offer premium specification at surprisingly affordable price.

The car comes with a 5-year warranty and will be offered in three trim levels with a choice of two petrol or one diesel engine. All have Electronic Stability Control as standard, along with a host of safety features comparable to the five-star Euro NCAP rated Cruze saloon.

The bigger 1.8 liter petrol develops 141PS is mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox. The diesel variant is a 2.0 liter VCDi delivering 163PS comes with either 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
